Next Tuesday's "Inside Education" will feature interviews with award-winning GVHS science teacher Cindy Kern plus Margarita Garcia, principal of Reedom Elementary School. The show airs Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 10 and is rebroadcast Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. on Channel 10, Friday at 4:30 p.m. on Cox Cable 111 and Sunday at 6 a.m. on Channel 10.

Forbuss ES in running for $500,000 scholarship

Forbuss Elementary School is in the running to win one of 20 $500,000 scholarships from Kohls. The school would use the funds to build an extensive science lab, upgrade its computers and technology, build a TV station, and improve the fine arts department and library. The contest is based on votes from the public; the voting deadline is Sept. 3. Click here for details.
